PASO software

Software for parameterization

PASO is a user-friendly parameterization software, has a logical structure and can be easily adapted to hydraulic systems thanks to its intuitive operation.

What is parameterization?

During parameterization, an electronic module is matched to the hydraulic valve and its field of application.
The signals received by the module are defined, how they are processed and how the valve should react.
This gives each module its own individual intelligence in order to match valves with the highest precision and optimum dynamics to the specific requirements in the best possible way.

Parameterization steps

The PASO software has been designed as a flow chart to provide a clear overview of the parameterization steps. After selecting a function block, the corresponding parameters can be set. The effects of the parameter changes are directly visible thanks to the real-time values displayed. This allows the control system and the entire system to be adjusted in real time.
All settings can be saved, stored and transferred to other electronic modules.

Commissioning process

For commissioning, the hydraulics must first be adapted to the mechanics of a system. To do this, all valves can be controlled individually via the PASO software and the system can be set to specific operating positions. This is much quicker and easier via the software than via external control signals, especially as these may not yet be available.

Analysis of real-time data

A hydraulic system is an interaction of individual valves. If these are controlled via electronic modules, real-time data can be displayed. Current values of control signals, detected error states or internal process values can be analysed in real time. This data is an important indicator during commissioning and provides information on why a system is not functioning as intended.
