Apprenticeship

We offer our apprentices extensive and varied training with assignments in various departments within the company. Particularly worth mentioning is the training as a polymechanic. This is carried out in our own training workshop, so there is no need to attend external, inter-company courses.

Vocational trainers with passion

Our competent and qualified vocational trainers actively and enthusiastically mentor, encourage and support young employees during their apprenticeships. Their top priority is to prepare trainees for a successful completion of their apprenticeships and their future careers.

Wandfluh creates opportunities

We support our trainees in developing their talents and interests. We offer young athletes the unique opportunity to pursue competitive sport alongside their training. This allows them to pursue their sporting goals without sacrificing a solid professional education. We also encourage participation in professional championships, where trainees can showcase their skills and gain valuable experience.

Apprenticeship & Sport

As a company interested in sport, we have been offering apprenticeships for prospective top athletes for many years. This turns young, ambitious apprentices into outstanding professionals who can also build a sporting career in skiing, cross-country skiing or football.

Video vocational training and competitive sports

Vocational championships

Learners have the opportunity to take part in professional competitions, including SwissSkills and WorldSkills, and prepare for the challenges internally. We are proud of Thomas Schranz, who became Swiss champion in the discipline of ‘Polymechanic Automation’ in 2018. At the WorldSkills in Kazan in 2019, he achieved an excellent 6th place. In 2020, Tommy Christen came 4th in the CNC turning discipline at the Swiss Championships.
