Become an apprentice with us
As an automation engineer, you will build electrical control systems, devices and machines or entire automation systems. You will help to put them into operation, create technical documents such as schematics and repair defective or outdated systems. As an automation technician, you can ideally combine knowledge and skills from different areas and work in a field that is developing rapidly and continuously.
Training content
- 4-year apprenticeship (basic examination after 2 years)
- Vocational school with the option of BM
- Wiring, cabling and installing systems
- Programming and testing control software
- Function and quality checks
- Creating operating instructions and test instructions
- Drawing electrical and pneumatic diagrams
- Assisting with the commissioning of systems at the customer's premises
