The well proven explosion protected spool valves with intrinsically safe solenoid coil of Wandfluh AG as of new are also certified for mining (device group I, device category M1).

At the same time the valves, apart from the certification according to ATEX, also have one according to IECEx. With this, the valves, apart from in the chemical industry, in the petrochemical industry, in the offshore industry as of new can also be utilised in the field of mining. Spool valves of Wandfluh AG are utilised for the direct actuation of hydraulic cylinders or for the pilot operation of ball valves and butterfly valves.
